Betting Rules
These Betting Rules explain how wagers are placed, accepted, settled and managed at Greenspin Casino. They are intended to help players understand the general conditions that apply when using our betting services. Please read these rules together with the applicable Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Responsible Gambling information before placing a wager.
1. General betting conditions
By opening an account, accessing our services or placing a wager, you agree to comply with these Betting Rules and all other applicable policies. Rules may apply differently depending on the product, game, market or feature you use. Where a specific game or market has additional rules, those rules will take priority for that activity.
You must be legally permitted to gamble in your location and must provide accurate information when registering or using your account. We may carry out identity, age, location and account verification checks. Access to betting services may be restricted where required by law, regulation, our internal controls or the conditions of a particular product.
Your account is for your personal use. You must keep your login information secure and must not allow another person to access or use your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
- Only one account may be permitted per player unless otherwise authorised under the applicable account terms.
- Wagers must be placed using an approved payment method or account balance available to you.
- You must not use our services for unlawful activity, fraud, collusion, money laundering or any other prohibited purpose.
- We may refuse, suspend, limit or cancel activity where we identify a legal, technical, security or integrity concern.
- Any applicable minimum or maximum stake, account limit or product restriction will be shown or communicated where relevant.
Acceptance of a wager
A wager is generally considered accepted only when it has been confirmed by our systems and recorded in your account history. Selecting a stake, outcome or game does not by itself guarantee that the wager has been accepted. You should check the confirmation and retain any reference or transaction information displayed.
We may decline or delay a wager before acceptance. This can occur because of account restrictions, insufficient funds, market closure, technical issues, unusual activity, incorrect information or other operational reasons. A displayed price, balance or game status may change before acceptance.
2. Placing and managing bets
Before confirming a wager, check the selected game or market, outcome, stake, odds or displayed terms, and any available settlement information. Once accepted, a wager normally cannot be changed, transferred or withdrawn unless the relevant product specifically provides a cancellation or cash-out feature. Any such feature is subject to availability and may not be offered for every wager.
You are responsible for reviewing your selections before submitting them. If you believe a wager has been placed incorrectly, contact the applicable support channel as soon as possible. We will review the account and transaction records, but contacting us does not automatically cancel or amend an accepted wager.
Balances, payments and withdrawals
You must have sufficient cleared funds or available credit in your account before placing a wager. A stake may be deducted when the wager is accepted. Winnings, refunds or adjustments may be added after the relevant game or market has been settled. Account balances may be subject to verification, payment checks and applicable terms.
Withdrawals may require identity, payment method, source-of-funds or other compliance checks. We may return funds to an approved payment method or use another permitted process. We do not guarantee a particular processing time, and a request may be delayed or declined where information is incomplete, an account is restricted or legal and security checks are outstanding.
Technical problems and interruptions
Internet connections, devices, software, payment providers and telecommunications networks can affect access to betting services. We are not responsible for a wager that was not received or confirmed because of a connection failure, device issue, system interruption or similar event. Account records and system logs may be used to determine whether a transaction was received, accepted or settled.
If a technical error affects a wager, balance, price, game result or settlement, we may correct the error and apply the outcome that should reasonably have applied. Where appropriate, an affected wager may be voided or refunded in accordance with the applicable rules and law.
3. Results, settlement and cancellations
Wagers are settled using the official result or outcome applicable to the relevant product. The settlement information shown for a game or market may explain which result is used, how ties or abandoned events are treated, and whether any special conditions apply. If no specific provision is shown, the general product rules and applicable Terms and Conditions will apply.
- A wager may be voided when the relevant event, game or market is cancelled, abandoned or materially disrupted, subject to the product rules.
- A result may be amended if an official result is corrected or if an obvious settlement error is identified.
- Where a wager includes multiple selections, the treatment of one cancelled or void selection may depend on the relevant bet type.
- Displayed results may be provisional until the market has been formally settled.
- A refund does not necessarily mean that a wager was incorrectly placed; it may result from cancellation, a technical error, a duplicate transaction or another permitted reason.
If a wager is settled incorrectly, we may correct the settlement and adjust the account balance. We will aim to apply corrections fairly and consistently. You should not spend or withdraw funds credited in error, as those funds may be recovered or reversed.
Disputes and account reviews
If you have a question about a wager, review your account history and the information supplied for the relevant product first. If the matter remains unresolved, raise it through the available support process and provide the wager reference, date, amount and a clear description of the issue. Avoid sending sensitive payment details unless they are specifically requested through a secure channel.
We may investigate disputes using transaction records, game or market data, system logs and other relevant information. Reviews can take longer where a third party, technical provider, payment service or official result is involved. Nothing in these rules limits any rights you may have under applicable Australian consumer or gambling laws.
4. Fair play and responsible betting
Greenspin Casino expects all players to use the service fairly and responsibly. You must not attempt to exploit a software fault, manipulate a game or market, interfere with another player, use automated tools where prohibited, or engage in collusion. Suspected fraud, abuse or manipulation may lead to an investigation and restrictions on an account or wager.
Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set limits that suit your circumstances, keep track of your spending and take breaks. Never gamble with money needed for essentials, and do not gamble when affected by alcohol, medication, stress or other factors that may affect your judgement.
- Only wager what you can afford to lose.
- Set personal deposit, spending or session limits where these tools are available.
- Do not chase losses or increase stakes to try to recover money.
- Take a break if gambling stops feeling enjoyable or begins affecting your finances, relationships, work or wellbeing.
- Use account restriction, timeout or self-exclusion options if you need help controlling your gambling.
- Seek independent support from an appropriate Australian gambling-help service if you are concerned about your gambling.
We may apply additional checks or restrictions to support safer gambling and comply with responsible gambling obligations. These may include limits, cooling-off periods, account reviews or exclusion measures. A restriction may not be removed simply because a player requests it, particularly where a self-exclusion or other protective measure applies.
Changes to these rules
These Betting Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to products, technology, law or operational requirements. The current version will apply to future activity from the time it is made available, unless a different effective date is stated. Please review the rules regularly. If you do not understand a rule, do not place the relevant wager until you have obtained clarification.
